With summer fast approaching, don’t let fad diets consume you, start now the right way, and have permanent results all summer!
Happy Fit Friday and Saint Patrick’s day BBFAM!
As we dive into this Fit Friday #1 I want this to be a fitness tips and tricks day where you can learn and refer back to when needed! I hope this provide an opportunity for you to learn something new about fitness and help propel you along your journey!
As pool season is fast approaching so are the fad diets and people wanting to get rid of that winter coat and no not the north face coat, the Christmas feast coat that’s still hanging on!
Let me be the first of the season to tell you that the fad diet might work… for a VERY short time! But if you go ahead and start now with a proper diet cut and exercise you will have a permanent beach bod and healthier results than eating grape fruit for two weeks. Feeling like you’re going to pass out walking up to the pool from lack of calories.
A proper way to do this? First calculate your BMR (basal metabolic rate) this is the amount of calories your body needs to stay where it is now! Just search BMR calculator and be honest with your input. And then you will see a calorie chart based on your activity level also important to be honest with yourself here. Once you have that number subtract 500-600 calories and that will be your daily calorie intake. This will allow your body to go into a calorie deficit. This means your burning more calories then you’re taking in thus burning fat ( your bodies main energy store.) This is the only true way to burn body weight in a permanent fashion.
