The purpose of Thoughtful Thursday is to have some deep thought with intention. Though our days are filled with thousands of decisions, roughly 35,000 per day, how many of these have a deeper thought behind them? Are you making a purposeful decision, a conscious effort, or actually thinking before taking action? Or…. Are you on cruise control? If you’re on cruise control how do you know…

For a start think back on your day, does it look like the day before, or the day before that one. Have you eaten the same three things for dinner all week, taken the same road to and from everyday, had the same shallow conversations.

Yes, this will be a hard thing to admit because you can’t change those days… we all have them… BUT you can consciously change those, and I promise it will ignite a new energy within you. Call someone you haven’t talked to in a while, don’t just say the “hey, how are you? How have you been?” - throw up some real conversation pieces. Drive a road you’ve never taken, or one that will bring back a memory. Try a new recipe- PUT SOME THOUGHT into your day.
