Be productive after your mid day slump hits, and do more than rush through the rest of your day to get in the bed.

The mid day slump…

2? 3? 4 o’clock? Sound about right?

These can indeed end your day prematurely… because what’s next? The last hours of work, you rush home or to get dinner, eat, shower, and you’re awaiting your bed time. Why leave all of that time on the table? What if you could have or be more than just that person. Because I know YOU have what it takes to do so. So how do I beat the mid day slump… here’s some tools you can implement

Deep rest (without sleep) find a quiet place or even throw in some white noise on your headphones if that’s hard to find, close your eyes, find a comfortable position, and relax taking good deep breaths. Try to get 10 minutes if applicable. This will help you recharge and refocus on the rest of the day, instead of looking forward to the pillow. Walking 10 minutes after lunch, this will speed up the digestion process and help you to feel more energized as your body will not have to work as hard to digest your lunch. Finally I would recommend a mid day journal session, writing down productive things you would like to get done with the rest of your day. If you write them down, and are able to check them off you’re more likely to get them done! I hope this helps you in becoming more productive and being able to do more than just being AVERAGE! Thank you for taking the time to become EXCUSELESS!
