Get it done.

When you least feel like getting it done the right way, is when you most importantly need to.

Everything seems to be on the fair to easy side when well rested, but what about when the end of the week rolls around? Are you starting to cut corners to get through the day, or are you still doing what needs to be done.

True grit isn’t always what you see in war movies… true grit can be doing the small things on your worst days. Doing the least sought after things when you’re beat down from the week longing for that day off.

These are the times when true character is revealed… when in the moment it feels like a shortcut… but later it feels like regret. When you’re rested and look back on that task you skipped, that meal you didn’t cook and opted for the fast food, the gym session you skimped on, the time you’ll NEVER get back.

So do yourself a favor, when you’re looking for the shortcut, is when you actually need to take the long route. Get through it, get it done, and you will feel so much more accomplished when you look back on it. The pain of regret is truly more painful the the pain of failure or getting your stuff done the right way.
