Work with intent rather than working to gain the attention of others.
How often do you do something solely to gain the attention of another person, instead of putting that effort and time into something with great intent to get you closer to where you’re trying to go?
Many of us can get caught up in the cycle of trying to impress others, seeking validation and recognition for our work. But what if we shifted our focus to working with intention instead?
When we work with intention, we're more focused on the process of our work rather than the end result. We're more likely to create something that truly aligns with our values and passions, and that we can take pride in. Here are some of the key benefits of working with intention:
Greater sense of purpose: When we work with intention, we have a clear idea of why we're doing what we're doing. We're not just going through the motions or trying to please others - we're working towards something that really matters to us.
More fulfilling work: Intentional work is more likely to be meaningful and fulfilling, as we're putting our energy into something that we truly care about.
Increased productivity: When we're clear on our intentions, we're better able to focus our efforts and get things done. We're not distracted by external factors, but rather driven by our own sense of purpose.
Improved well-being: Working with intention can be a great way to boost our well-being, as we're doing something that brings us joy and fulfillment.
So put your time, effort, and energy into the things that are going to better you. Better the lives of those you care for, and will get you closer to where you want to be.
